Coastal Virginia Building Industry Association is a professional trade organization that is dedicated to improving the climate for quality housing for all income levels; promote the growth and development of the shelter industry; promote excellence and professionalism among members through educational and networking opportunities; and support and enhance the community through charitable projects. The association represents members throughout the region and was formerly known as Tidewater Builders Association (TBA) and the Peninsula Housing and Builders Association (PHBA).
As a member of CVBIA, you also become a member of the Home Builders Association of Virginia (HBAV) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
CVBIA membership is available in these categories: Builder (includes developers and remodelers); Associate (companies providing products and /or services); Cornerstone Foundation (an elite investment opportunity); and Subcontractor B/C (small subcontracting companies that do not hold a Class A contractor's license). Annual dues are $850 for Builder membership; $750 for Associate membership; $495 for Subcontractor B/C membership; and starting at $2,500 for Cornerstone Foundation membership.
Only the primary representative of your company is enrolled as a member with the state (HBAV) and national (NAHB) associations. If you'd like to have one or more of your employees enrolled for the benefits these groups offer, they are eligible for Affiliate Member status.
Your membership becomes active upon receipt of your application and annual dues payment. Only full payment by credit card is accepted with the Online Application.
