2026 HBAV Day at the General Assembly
Join us for a day at the Virginia General Assembly! Please coordinate with you local HBA to schedule meetings with members of the General Assembly between 7:30 and 11:00 am. After meetings at the General Assembly, HBAV will host all members and guests for lunch and a debrief meeting in the James Center Conference Room.

Builders University: OSHA 10-HR Construction Industry Safety Course
Do you or your employees have the tools needed to work safely on construction job-sites? The OSHA 10-Hour Construction Industry course provides entry-level training to help participants recognize, avoid, and prevent safety and health hazards. Using real-world examples, including actual claims, instructors guide students through practical solutions to protect themselves and others on the job-site. Who should attend: Company owners, field employees, and anyone responsible for safety on the job-site. Course highlights: Recognize and avoid common job-site hazards. Understand employee rights and responsibilities related to safety. Learn what to expect during an OSHA inspection, including employer rights. Gain knowledge on fall protection, electrical safety, personal protective equipment (PPE), and more. Build confidence and safety awareness for daily work activities. This two-day, classroom-based course is led by OSHA-authorized Builders University instructors. Upon completion, participants receive an official OSHA 10-Hour Construction Industry course completion card from the U.S. Department of Labor.
