Warehouse Associate Job Summary
Cabinet Factory is seeking an energetic, experienced individual to join our company as a Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver. As part of our warehouse and delivery teams, you will use hand trucks and occasionally forklifts to load and unload delivery vehicles, and drive vehicles to delivery locations. You will accurately keep records of all inventory, both received and delivered, and observe safe workplace rules and guidelines when unloading and transporting cargo. This is a physically demanding position, meaning our ideal candidate is able to lift and move heavy cabinets and flooring, in addition to possessing a valid driver's license, forklift operator's certification, and experience with warehouse inventory management.
Warehouse Associate; Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders.

Performs general warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed.

Performs all job responsibilities in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

Load truck accurately and safely for customer deliveries.

Unload truck as needed at customer and job locations.

Drive company vehicles to make customer deliveries and pick up items. Obeying traffic laws and safety procedures. Maintain appropriate licensing, credentials, and acceptable driving record.

Conduct self in professional and ethical manner. Treat external and internal customers and associates with courtesy and respect.

Fill customer orders by retrieving materials from the warehouse and other locations.

Check in and put away materials, verifying quantities and quality of received materials. Maintain clear aisles and walkways, ensure materials are properly organized.

Assist in keeping the property and warehouse appearance to company standards.

Know location of materials in warehouse, keep materials organized and put away.

Report discrepancies and damages of materials back to management.

Perform inventory counts.

Perform vehicle and forklift inspections as required. Maintain presentable truck appearance, cleaning as needed.

Perform other responsibilities as directed.
Abilities and Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and arms to handle, feel, or carry materials. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance or stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee is regularly required to lift up 10lbs and up to 25lbs. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 50 lbs. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 100lbs. Cabinet factory will supply essential equipment to help with employees safety and physical health.

Employee must be able to safely tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear; read and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of materials. The employee is regularly required to sound reasoning and logic performing daily tasks. The employee is required to be able to safely operate a forklift, pallet jack and carpet cutting machine.
