DESCRIPTION:Due to COVID-19 concerns and new restrictions taking effect July 31\, the Aug. 20 event has been postponed until further notice.\n\nCoastal Virginia Building Industry Association's annual members-only party event once again features sponsoring companies serving up food and beverages "tailgate" style. All of the old favorites are returning\, including oysters\, hamburgers\, hot dogs\, chicken wings and plenty of cold beverages!\n\n\n\nAlthough typically held in the spring\, the event has been moved to a later date due to the coronavirus pandemic. But don't worry . . . there will be plenty of shade and shelter!\n\nYou must be 21 or older to attend this event. No one under 21 is admitted to the Picnic site\, including infants and toddlers. CVBIA reserves the right to check i.d.'s at the gate. The Picnic will be held rain or shine. NO REFUNDS.\n\nTickets may be purchased online through Aug. 3 for $30\; price increases to $39 Aug. 4 through Aug. 19 and to $49 the day of the event.\n\nBuying 10 or more? Then the cost per ticket is only $25* (*Bulk ticket price increases to $34 after Aug. 3)\n\nPLEASE NOTE: No tickets will be mailed\; you may pick them up at the CVBIA office\, 2117 Smith Ave.\, Chesapeake between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tickets not picked up by Aug. 19 will be at Will Call and can be picked up at 3:45 p.m. at the entrance to the picnic.\n\nATTENTION TMHC APARTMENT COMMUNITY MEMBERS: Please contact jhearn@cvbia.com for a ticket form and information about the TMHC Olympics.
